Description
The first version of this book was written during the summer camps in Ferndale, New York. With great respect and heartfelt gratitude we use this opportunity to express my appreciation to Rabbi Yechiel Aryeh Hacohen Munk, founder and spiritual leader of this outstanding educational institution in the spirit of the Torah. It was on his suggestion that the job was started, and with his support and prompting it was completed.
We turned to Rabbi Shimon Eider and received his permission to publish his pamphlets on Halacha just a few days before his death. Perhaps it was the resolution of one of the last good that Rabbi Eider made in my life.
We hope that this publication will multiply the merits of Rabbi S. Eider before the Creator of the world and the Jewish people! There is no doubt that the study of Russian-speaking Jews of the laws of the Torah from his books will increase its share in the World to Come!
