Description
Moishe Kulbak’s life was cut short in 1937, when he was killed during the Stalinist repressions. He did however, go down in history as a Yiddish writer of three genres: prose, poetry, and drama. His novel Earthmen focuses on a Jewish family, whose life is rapidly changing during the unprecedented revolutionary times. There is a new formation of the people, who naively believe that Socialism is bringing them a new and improved life.
