Probably every child in Israel knows poems by Leah Goldberg – as well as in Russia everybody knows, for example, the verses of Samuel Marshak. The poem “An apartment” is perhaps the best known among Leah Goldberg. Translated by Julia Wiener, a very good Israeli poet. A pictures painted by artist Nancy Cote. She lives in America, in Massachusetts, her work has been shown in many exhibitions, and she has received many awards for artists who does children’s books.
