Description
This edition of Megillat Esther offers a new translation with selected commentary culled primarily from the works of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneersohn, of righteous memory. These are combined with various interpretations offered by the Midrash, Talmud, Kabbalah, Chassidism and other Rabbinic writings on the Megillah. In particular this volume hopes to clarify obscure phrases and passages, and to provide the reader with an appreciation of the timeless relevance of the Megillah.
