For children of younger and average school age.

The well-known Jewish writer and wise man Isaak Bashevis Singer has lived a long life. He was born in Poland more than a hundred years ago, there he grew up and became a writer. He then left for America and become famous around the whole world writing books for adults and children. He has received the most honourable writer award – the Nobel Prize for the literature.

This book includes almost all stories which he has created for children. Certainly, Isaak Bashevis Singer himself was the great inventor, but for these stories he took plots from the Jewish legends and national fairy tales, from the Bible, and from the life in the Jewish village near Warsaw.
